A new DMR repeater is on the air in Sandusky County, Ohio. It is located at the Sandusky County EMA in Fremont, Ohio. The frequency is 442.0625 / 447.0625, Color Code 7, Time Slot 2 on the BrandMeister network.

CITIZEN ALERT SYSTEM:

If you live in Sandusky County, Ohio you can receive emergency notifications via your cell phone, work phone, text message, e-mail, home phone, and more. Receive notifications about emergencies that may affect your home, your parent's home, your workplace, or your child's school. Locations must be within the boundaries of a Sandusky County City or in rural areas of Sandusky County.

HERE'S HOW - just log onto the Sandusky County Sheriff's website at sandusky-county.com and select the "Citizen Alert System" tab at the top-right of the page.

Amateur Radio License Testing Dates

Volunteer Testing (VE) for an Amateur Radio License will be held on the following Saturdays in 2019: February 23, April 27, May 25, August 31, September 28 and November 30, 2019. Registration at 8:30 am and testing at 9 am. Cost is $15.00. Bring a picture ID. Red Cross building at 1245 Napoleon Street, Fremont, Ohio.
